Kailash Mansarovar yatra by overland start from Kathmandu, you will travel by road throughout the journey. Mount Kailash isn’t only a mountain, it is a symbol of belief & faith among four religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism & Bon. The mountain lies near Lake Manasarovar and Lake Rakshasa Tal. It is the source of four major holy rivers in Asia: the Indus, Sutlej, Brahmaputra and Karnali. People who aren't able to perform a holy bath at Lake Manasarovar go into above rivers with the same belief and faith.
Mansarovar is another holy place which lies north of Mt. Kailash. Like Mt. Kailash also has its own religious value among some religions. They have their own beliefs and faith about Kailash Mansarovar Yatras per their devotional texts.

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1400m) - Overnight in Kathmandu
Welcome to Nepal, a representative will be there at the Tribhuvan International airport to meet & greet you and transfer you to the hotel by private vehicle.
Meal: Dinner at Hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing – Overnight in Kathmandu
After Breakfast (08:00AM) – Visit Lord Pashupatinath Temple, Shakti Peeth, Boudhanath Stupa and Budhanilkantha.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Kodari (Nepal China Border) – Overnight in Kodari
After Breakfast: Drive to Kodari (125 KM).
Drive Time: 4-5 hours

Day 04: Drive to Drive to Tatopani Border (Nepal – China) & Drive to Nyalam – Overnight in Nyalam
After Breakfast: Drive to Tatopani Border (5 km). Then complete immigration & custom formalities in Nepal & Tibet side at Rasuwagadhi, and then continue further drive to Nyalam. Having completed the processes, you proceed to drive to Nyalam in Tibet. During this time, you are able to see Tibetan culture as you enter your mystic nation. At the destination, you take an overnight stop in a hotel.

Day 05: Free for Acclimatization – Overnight in Nyalam
After Breakfast: Free all day. This day is reserved for rest for acclimatization in Tibet’s tough climate. Our tour manager will assist you for a short local walking at Nayalam for warming up your body to adjust with Tibet’s high altitude.

Day 06: Drive to Saga (4550m) – Overnight in Saga
After Breakfast: – Drive to Saga (235 km – 5 to 6 hrs).
Drive Time: 5-6 hrs
Altitude: 4550 m
Meal: Breakfast, Packed Lunch and Dinner at Saga.
Day 07: Drive from Saga to Mansarovar Lake (4550m) – Overnight in Mansarovar Lake
08:00 AM - Drive towards Manasarovar Lake (450 km - 6-7 hrs) crossing beautiful places and stay at the shore of the Lake. Fill spiritual water.
Drive Time: 6-7 hrs

Day 08: Drive to Darchen (4650m) – Overnight in Darchen
Most of the day - Perform Puja (prayer ritual) at Manasarovar Lake Parikrama of Manasarovar Lake by vehicle (3 hrs - 90 km)
03:00 PM - Drive to Darchen.
Drive Time: 2 hrs

Day 09: First Day of Outer Kora - Trek to Dirapuk (4860m) – Overnight in Dirapuk
10:00AM - After a short drive, we will reach Tarboche and visit Yama Dwar. This is the starting point for Kora. We will trek to Dirapuk (4860 m) which is a 12 km trek (5-6 hrs). You will visit the North face of Mt. Kailash.
Note: Travelers who do not want to trek around (Parikrama) Kailash can go back to Darchen and wait for the rest of the group to arrive from Parikrama.

Walk Time: 12 KM (5-6 hrs.)

Day 10: Second Day of Outer Kora - On to Zuthulphuk (4670m) with Trek to Dolma La Pass
07:00AM - Trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass and proceed to Zuthulphuk (22 km trek for 8-9 hours trek). This is the most difficult journey throughout the yatra since you have to trek up to 5700 ft. From descend to Gaurikund and further trek along the river to Zuthulphuk.

Walk Time: 22 KM (8-9 hrs.)

Day 11: Drive to Saga (4550m - 470 kms - 7-8 hrs) – Overnight in Saga
After Breakfast: Short Trek (8kms - 2 - 3hrs) and reach the point where the coach will be waiting, we will drive to Darchen and merge with other members who were waiting and drive to Saga. (470 kms - 8-9 hrs)
Drive Time: 8-9 hrs

Day 12: Drive to Nyalam (3750m) – Overnight in Nyalam
After Breakfast: – Drive to Saga (245 km)
Meal: Breakfast, Packed Lunch and Dinner at Nyalam.
Drive Time: 6-7 hrs

Day 13: Drive from Nyalam to Kathmandu – Overnight in Kathmandu
After Breakfast: Drive from Nyalam towards we walk to the Nepalese immigration control in Tatopani Border.
Nyalam, complete the re-entry formalities and get transferred to our hotel in Kathmandu. This should take about 7-8 hours by bus. Dinner and night stay will be in the Hotel.

Day 14: Transfer to Kathmandu Airport
You will be free till your flight time. We will drop you at the Airport 3 hours before flight time (30 mins drive).
