Ghorepani/Poonhill Trek is one of the most popular short treks in Annapurna region. Situated at an altitude of 3200 m and just beneath the greatest himalayan trail, the area is famous for fascinating traditional villages, ethnic communities, rhododendron forests and magnificent 360-degree panoramic view of more than ten snow-capped mountains. It is the shortest trek that doesn’t require any trekking experiences. During the season, the route can be congested but it is possible to trek Poonhill anytime of the year.
